NEW SERIES: THE GREAT COMMISSION

When Jesus walked the earth, he demonstrated what the Great Commission looked like. In Matthew chapter 28, He commissioned his disciples to "GO" making them recipients of an Apostolic charge! Can you imagine receiving such a mandate to do the same thing that Jesus did while He walked the earth? So, as you read down to verses 19-20 of Matthew 28, Jesus tells his disciples,

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen"

The Great Commission is a great mandate, but God gets the glory out of our lives, that is what matters!

In your time alone today, ask God to help you make your light shine so that He get the glory out of your life. A life lived submitted to God is a life worth living!
