Trust God, Do Not Doubt

Updated: Mar 15, 2023

Life will happen. Many things either happen to us or for us, sometimes either feels like the end of the world, but it isn't. Hold on. Hold on to the Word that says,

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding

(Prov. 3:5)."

Activating your faith is a must. It is easy to trust when things are going the way that we want them to, but what happens when they don't? We can not truly empathize with someone else experiencing certain pressures until that pressure actually visits our front door. Great many people are dealing with unexpected, unforeseen, and uncontrollable pressures, that can either cause them to revert to past sin, or find comfort in something else they shouldn't.

Right now, in the midst of the pressure you're experiencing, you are reading this and it speaks to you.

Say this prayer of Faith and trust God for the rest:

"In Jesus name, may the pressure I feel now cause me to turn to a place of prayer and not sin. Like Jesus, in the garden of Gethsemane when He was faced with the pressure of going to the cross, He prayed. Teach me how to pray Father and trust you for the rest. Jesus said if it was your will to let this cup pass from Him, but in the same breath He said, nevertheless, not His will but God's will be done. Like so, we pray, Father let this pass, but nevertheless let your will be done. Father teach me how to deal with pressures that I may come out stronger, wiser, and more equip to carry the weight of heaven. Father let your spirit take control as I yield and surrender my control. Father let my flesh become subdued to your power so that your will can be done. Let the discomfort I feel now not control me, but I give it to you. Strengthen the weak place so that I won't sin against you. In Jesus name. Amen."

The pressure didn't come to kill you, but it came to make you stronger.
